The McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator Audit Service from Future Com Professional Services provides an analysis of your existing ePO environment to determine proper operation and identify any mis-configurations or inoperative features.
When configured and deployed correctly, McAfee ePO delivers a coordinated, proactive defense against malicious threats and attacks, helps you keep protection up to date; configure and enforce protection policies; and monitor security status all from one centralized console. The purpose of this audit is to check the functionality in the following areas:

Scope of Engagement
Future Com will provide one day (8 hours) of consulting engagement to fulfill the requirements of this Statement of Work as described. Four (4) hours of services will be performed onsite and four (4) hours will be performed offsite for analysis, design, documentation, and follow up.
The scope of work under this engagement will be limited to the McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) console, management server, and associated ePO components only. Any additional McAfee components such as VirusScan, HIPS, Groupshield, or SCM will not be included in the discovery process and will not be addressed by this audit. The discovery and audit process will be performed on up to fifty (50) nodes to determine proper ePO functionality.
Project Tasks Performed During Audit
- Identify any missing patches/updates/hotfixes.
- Completely review GUI and ePO architecture.
- Review Policies for Anti-Virus on both Servers and PCs.
- Review patch levels and product versions on up to fifty (50) nodes to test functionality of deployment tasks.
- Review Global Updating.
- Test functionality of configured notifications.
- Test agent deployment to designated workstations.
- Review policy inheritance.
- Review Super Agent functionality.
- Document distributed repositories.
- Recommendations/Best Practices.
